Just in time for the holiday rush, a new UPS store is open at 1210 Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville.
The store is located next to Elevation Fitness in the Publix shopping center and fills the space previously occupied by McElveen's Pharmacy.
The store offers traditional packing and shipping services, in addition to printing, shredding, passport pictures, notary, and mailbox services. The new store is also a drop off location for Amazon returns.
“As a one-stop shop for small businesses- we offer shipping, postal, printing and comprehensive small business services- we look forward to serving individuals and local business owners within the Gainesville community,” said The UPS Store franchisee Himanshu Patel in a press statement.
Store hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday to welcome the business to the community.
