Multi-vehicle wreck in Hart Co. results in serious injuries

A multi-vehicle wreck in Hart County resulted in serious injuries for one driver.

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) reported that at around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash near Sundown Circle.

A Honda Accord was traveling on Ga. 51 while a Chevrolet Camaro was stopped and getting ready to turn into a private drive facing the same direction.

A concrete truck was traveling on Ga. 51 in the opposite direction of the Accord and Camaro.

The front right of the Accord struck the left rear of the Camaro. The Accord then rotated into the path of the concrete truck.

The concrete truck struck the back of the Accord, causing it to overturn and eject the driver. 

38-year-old Jacqueline Wallace of Hartwell was the driver of the Accord and was transported by AnMed Air to Prisma Healthcare in Greenville, South Carolina with serious injuries.

25-year-old Demitruis Oglesby of Hartwell was transported by EMS to AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina with minor injuries.

The driver of the Camaro was not injured.
