Several area school systems will be closed, have virtual learning days, or operate on a delay on Tuesday due to severe weather conditions predicted for the area.
The following schools will be closed:

- Habersham County Schools
- Lumpkin County Schools
- Rabun County Schools
- Stephens County Schools
- White County Schools
The following schools will hold a virtual learning day:
- Dawson County Schools
- Towns County Schools
The following schools will open on a two-hour delay.
- Union County Schools
- Fannin County Schools
- Gilmer County Schools
- Pickens County Schools
The North Georgia area is expecting heavy rain, high wind gusts, flooding, downed trees, and power outages.
