By Will Daughtry News Reporter

A wreck on Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville led to minor injuries on Sunday.

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) responded to the area of Dawsonville Highway and Sardis Road just before 7 p.m. to the crash involving two motorcycles and a car.

The investigation determined that a Ford Ecosport was on Dawsonville Highway in the left lane. Two Harley Davidson Motorcycles were traveling on Sardis Road and were turning left onto the highway.

When their traffic signal turned green, the motorcycles began to turn left. The driver of the Ford, 24-year-old Tiffany Ferraro of Gainesville, reportedly ran the red light.

The two motorcycle drivers — 23-year-old Elijah Mckinzey of Winder and 25-year-old Angel Anderson of Braselton — were transported from the scene with minor injuries.

Mckinzey’s passenger, 24-year-old Mickayla Mckinzey of Winder, was also transported with minor injuries.
