The Georgia Bureau of Investigation recently arrested a Toccoa man on methamphetamine trafficking charges after authorities received complaints from the public.
The GBI said agents seized nearly 27 ounces of suspected methamphetamine and a handgun from Jeremy Lee Mans, 32 on Nov. 22.
Mans was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He was booked into the Stephens County Detention Center.
The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision collaborated on the investigation.
