The City of Gainesville, Georgia is pleased to share an elevator modernization project will soon get underway at the free Main Street Parking Deck, located at 301 Main St. SW, in Downtown Gainesville.
City officials say that the elevators will be upgraded, one at a time, while still making access available with two elevators until the the modernization project is complete.
From start to finish, the project will take approximately 18 weeks, with each elevator car taking roughly six weeks to complete. More details can be found from the City of Gainesville's Facebook page.
