ATLANTA (AP) Police say they've made an arrest in an attack on an Atlanta family that left a father wounded by gunshots as he tried to protect his wife and children.
Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said Friday morning that the 18-year-old man was apprehended during the overnight hours. Police were expected to release more details on the arrest and charges later Friday.
Authorities say Michael Lash was trying to protect his family when he was shot in both of his legs by the gunmen, who stormed into his Atlanta home Sunday evening. Lash was hospitalized and is expected to recover from his injuries.
Earlier, police had released a sketch of one suspect and video surveillance footage in hopes of identifying all four suspects. Police are still seeking the other three.
