The Braselton Planning Commission on Dec. 17 will be asked to approve plans for a multi-use development that includes 244 multi-family units.
The 32.5-acre site is in Jackson County and fronts on Lewis Braselton Boulevard and Davis Street. Homecorp is requesting that the property be rezoned from R-1 (Residential) to PUD (Planning Unit Development).
The development, in addition to the housing units, would also include 49,450 square feet of commercial building space.
The commission will also consider plans for a RaceTrac Convenience Store/Gas Station at the Thompson Mill Road/Georgia 211 intersection in Gwinnett County and an automotive repair shop at 2127 Friendship Road in Hall County.
HALL COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Hall County planning staff is recommending approval of a rezoning request for 89.99 acres at Price and Thomas roads where a 72-lot subdivision is planned.
The staff has also recommended approval of a mixed-use (industrial, commercial, office, and institutional) development on 519 acres on Cornelia Highway/Georgia 365 at Simpson Road.
In addition, a request to amend conditions for a 233-lot subdivision on Friendship Road near Heritage Crossing Drive is being recommended for approval. The applicant is asking that the original conditions regarding the outward appearance of the front of the homes, including the size of the garages, be amended.
