Braselton City officials are poised to consider plans over the next few weeks for two multi-use developments that would include 700 housing units.

HECE, LLC wants to develop 460 single-family homes, 202,250 square feet of retail/commercial building space, and five additional commercial outparcels. The entire tract totals 229.29 acres and is located on Georgia Highway 211.

In addition, Nancy Carol Brock and Braselton Township Development LLC are requesting that approximately 77 acres fronting on Georgia Highway 53 and Braselton Parkway by rezoned into a split zoning.  Plans call for the development of 240 multi-family units, six commercial parcels, and 499,200 square feet of warehouse/distribution space.

The city's planning commission will consider the applications June 24.  They will then go before the Mayor and City Council July 3.
