The 68th Annual Charity Ball, sponsored by the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County will take place on Saturday, December 14, at 8 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Country Club.
The Charity Ball is one of the League’s major fundraisers, and its proceeds allow the nonprofit organization to provide support and financial assistance to programs and agencies that benefit women and children.
Six local civic groups are sponsoring Belle candidates this year. The highlight of the Charity Ball will be the announcement of the Belle of the Ball, the candidate who raises the most money for the League's charities. The sponsoring clubs and Belle candidates are:
*Gainesville Jaycees Emilie Green
*Gainesville Rotary Club Catherine Henderson
*Braselton Rotary Club Brelynn Millwood
*South Hall Rotary Club Emma DeLong
*Gainesville Phoenix Woman’s Club Symone Turner
*Kiwanis Club of Gainesville Madison Brock
Tickets and donations in support of the Belle candidates may be made online at https://www.gainesvillehalljuniorleague.org/charity-ball-2019/ or by calling the League office at (770) 535-1951.
