A Gainesville man remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond following his arrest in the reported molestation of two young girls.
Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth said John David Honeycutt, 30, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 29 at his home on Country View Circle in the North Hall area. The alleged crimes happened on Sunday, August 9 at Honeycutt's residence.
"Deputies first learned of the incidents when they responded to a Sept. 28 call from a family member of one of the victims," Booth said.
Honeycutt has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of child molestation.
"Three of the charges involve offenses Honeycutt committed against one the victims. The remaining child molestation charge involves abuse against the second girl," said Booth.
Booth declined to reveal the age of the victims. He said Honeycutt knew both children.
