At its regularly scheduled meeting on August 18th, The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of the district's new Chief Equity Officer and new principals at Crews Middle School and Mountain View High School.
Dr. Jared Lancer has been named Chief Equity Officer of the district. He currently serves as an Independent Education Researcher in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Lancer has served many roles in education, including serving as the Executive Director of Elementary and Secondary Charter Schools at Watts Learning Center in Los Angeles, California.
Ms. Cindy Moffett has been named the new Principal of Crews Middle School. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Berkmar High School. She will replace Dr. Brett Savage who has been named the new Principal at Brookwood High School.
Ms. Stephanie Stewart has been named the new Principal at Mountain View High School. She has served as the Principal of Patrick Elementary School since 2017. Ms. Stewart replaces Keith Chaney who will retire on September 1st.
