The official start to the high school soccer season began on Monday and will culminate with 20 games across the area on Friday.
In the sole region match, North Oconee travels to Chestatee in Region 8-4A action. The girls' action begins at 5:30 p.m.
Also on the slate, East Hall travels to Gainesville in what could be a down-to-the-wire boys game, and in a rivalry match, Union County will battle Lumpkin County in Dahlonega.
The University of North Georgia is hosting a North Georgia Showcase on Friday. North Hall takes on Jackson County beginning at 6 p.m. with the girls' game. The boys play at 8 p.m.
