City offices closing as new Commerce Administrative Complex set to open April 7

Several Commerce government locations will close for good within the next week as the city prepares for its new Commerce Administrative Complex building, which will officially open on April 7.

Friday (March 28) will mark the final day for the old Commerce Planning and Development building at 545 Cedar Drive. Then, the current Commerce City Hall at 27 Sycamore Street will shut its doors on Friday, April 4, as both will move into the new facility at 110 State Street.

The new facility will also house a Civic Center for the city.

At the new location, residents will have the following services:

  • Utility Payments
  • Utility Service Applications
  • After Business Hours Payment
  • Business License (New and Renewals)
  • Utility Directors Offices (Public Works, Natural Gas, Water & Sewer, Electric, IT)I
  • Permit Department|
  • Finance Department
  • Human Resources
  • Code Enforcement
  • Planning And Development
  • City Manager
  • City Clerk
  • Civic Center Rental Space
  • Mainstreet Office
  • City Court Chambers
  • City Council Chambers
