GAINESVILLE - There's been another confirmed case of rabies in Hall County - the 27th of the year.

Gainesville-Hall County Animal Control says this one was in the Hubert Stephens road area of North Hall. It was in a raccoon that came in contact with a dog on Sunday.

The Georgia Public Health Lab confirmed Wednesday that the raccoon tested positive for rabies.

Meanwhile, two more rabies clinics are scheduled next month in the county, on Aug. 9 from 8:30-12:00 at the Humane Society of Hall County on W. Ridge Rd. and on Aug. 23, 8:30-12:00 at Wal-Mart in Oakwood.
