LAWRENCEVILLE - A late day brush fire caused Black Friday headaches for Gwinnett county commuters.
Fire crews responded to a large area brush and woods fire in the proximity of Highway 316 westbound near Williams Farm Drive just after 3:00 p.m., according to Gwinnett County Fire Lt. Colin Rhoden.
Upon arrival, firefighters found two large areas burning. Both westbound lanes were closed while firefighters battled the blaze for an hour. No injuries were reported.
