Douglas County authorities seize 65 pounds of crystal meth

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) Police in Douglas County say an officer found more than $1 million worth of crystal methamphetamine during a recent traffic stop. <br /> <br /> WSB-TV reports that Jose Garcia-Contreras was arrested Sunday after being pulled over for a broken tag light and a police dog found 65 pounds of meth under the car floor. Police say the 64-year-old from Eagle Pass, Texas has been charged with trafficking meth and is being held without bond in the Douglas County Jail. <br /> <br /> It is not clear whether he has an attorney. <br /> <br /> Lt. John Jewell told the station he isn't sure whether the amount of drugs seized breaks a county record but must be close.
