Six arrested in Forsyth, Dawson Co. thefts

CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities have rounded up six suspects and they are looking for one more in connection with a series of recent thefts and burglaries across the northern end of Forsyth County and part of Dawson County.<br /> <br /> Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Robin Regan said their break came on Sunday, July 20 when patrol deputies spotted a vehicle that had been linked to some of the break-ins.<br /> <br /> "One of our patrol deputies was in the area of [Highway] 369 and Little Mill Road - this was about 4:30 in the morning - and they encountered a suspicious vehicle," said Regan. <br /> <br /> He said when the deputies pulled over the vehicle, they found marijuana and stolen items in the car. The two occupants in the vehicle were arrested.<br /> <br /> "That led investigators and deputies...to a number of other suspects and also some more evidence and paraphernalia that were linked to other crimes," said Regan.<br /> <br /> The suspects and charges were listed as follows:<br /> <br /> -Justin Bridges was charged with two counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Entering Auto, Conspiracy to commit a Felony and Possession of Marijuana.<br /> <br /> -Savannah Driskell was charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Marijuana.<br /> <br /> -Zachary Umberger was charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.<br /> <br /> -Nicholas Porter and Laurel Farris were charged with Burglary 2nd degree.<br /> <br /> -Boyd Spencer was charged with Criminal Damage 2nd degree.<br /> <br /> Regan said active burglary warrants have been issued for Nicholas Shaver.<br /> <br /> Regan did not say where the suspects lived, nor did he release a specific dollar amount in reference to the stolen merchandise.
